Incident: Mission hills Structure Fire started in one residentail unit on the second floor then extended to neighboring units on the second floor of this two-story apartment building located at 10033 N. Sepulveda Blvd today. Upon arrival, firefighters found one unit on the second floor fully involved with fire showing and dense smoke. Fire burned through the roof in a matter of minutes and firefighters had extended multiple ladders from three T Trucks to access the roof . It took 47 firefighters to get a knockdown in 18 minutes and stop the fire from extending to the remaining apartment units. A tenets reportedly escaped the fire unharmed as LAFD said. Sepulveda Blvd Southbound was blocked off at Mayall St as LADOT was requested for traffic control and forced traffic to detour Westbound on Mayall St. Traffic was backed up from Devonshire St sb Sepulveda Blvd to Mayall St. Baddboy News - Los Angeles

Incident: Tree Fire broke out in front an apartment complex located at 8817 Tobias Ave during the 4th of July independence holiday celebration. Firefighters arrived to find a 40 foot tall pine tree in flames which was very close the apartment building structure. The flames came very close the the power pole high wires. Firefighters took 8 minutes to put the fire out and one fire engine company . No structures were damaged and no injuries reported and the cause of the tree fire remains under investigation by the LAFD.

There was a man fitting the profile of a suspect outstanding police warrant who was observed by police as he was seen exiting the Subway as officers approached him at his pick up truck.
The man saw the officers and became combative , jumped onto the back of his pickup truck in the bed part and as officers attempted to take their suspect into custody, he pops up with a chainsaw, threatening police and later pours raw gasoline on himself threatening police he will light himself on fire… intersection of Chatsworth st & Sepulveda blvd
July 20, 2025 9:06pm BADDBOY NEWS | Police responded to a 911-call for help that lead police to a Drive-by shooting in Tarzana near a Arco gas station. The alleged drive by shooting was reportedly located at the corner of Oxnard St / Reseda Blvd where a person reported the incident as he made claims to police on the 911 call that some car drove past him and opened fire, shooting at him while he was in a wheelchair. Los Angeles police and fire arrived at 6039 Reseda Blvd at the AmPm Minimart and ARCO gas station to find a male in his wheelchair parked just outside on the porch of the market claiming he is suffering and showed some blood dripping from himself. it was unclear if the victim in the wheelchair was struck by bullets allegedly fired by the suspects who he claimed to police shot at him. The description of the car or suspects that allegedly drove by opening fire was a mystery and is still under investigation by LAPD . no other witnesses had stepped forward in claiming they heard or saw anything and no other persons claimed to be involved. the scene wasn't unusually crowded like you would expect when shots are fired at a gas station and business inside was noted normal operation.
